Sointi Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece ensemble known for its distinctive sound that reinvents the big band tradition and its unprecedented concert performances. On this album you will hear new and epic Finnish singing created by singer-songwriter Aili Jarvela! The idea about this project started in 2018, and now the songs composed and arranged by Jarvela have finally made it to the album. Aili Jarvela has grown up with folk music and is a traveller on her own path, who is not afraid to get lost. Born in Kaustis, Jarvela is known as a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, violinist, producer, and freelance musician from many different contexts.
