Os Afro Sambas was born out of Vinicius infatuation for samba de roda songs with candomble influences from Bahia. Baden Powell had also been into Bahian candomble. When the two artist joined forces to explore those sounds they loved so much; Os AfroSambas was born. The LP shows a rich unique musicality combining candomble and umbanda instruments with timbres common to Brazilian music.
