Turkey-Various Artists - Asker Turkuleri (Soldier Songs)

Especially in the Turkish folk music repertoire, the vast majority of soldier songs are of the free-rhythm Songs. Among these Songs, a great many are devoted to the Yemen "war and "World War I. This project, which ~we have named "Asker T?rk?leri" Soldieri Songs) brings the soldier songs of the Turkish folk music repertoire together in one recording. These Songs, most of which are being recorded for the first time, constitute part of a series, including "Prison Songs" and albums on other subjects.
